The company
A story that began thanks to the sacrifice of grandfather Renato who, with hard work managed to redeem his life as a sharecropper by buying the property where he worked, under the Bricco Lù in Costigliole d'Asti. In 1963, he planted the first hectares of vineyards and, since then, the Ronzano family has never stopped growing and dedicating the utmost attention to the land.

Grandfather Giuseppe known as “Pepino” & Grandma Luigina
The story of a life dedicated to caring for the Neive lands. Following in the footsteps of his father, who was already a winemaker at the end of the 19th century, Pepino planted the first Nebbiolo vineyards. Together with his wife Luigina, and their strong passion for the land, they have dedicated their entire lives to the care of these precious lands.

The third generation of the family, they have combined two unique wineries: Costigliole d’Asti, with its precious terroir dedicated to the production of fine Barbere and Neive, a new project focused to the enhancement and production of Barbaresco and Nebbiolo.
The result is a unique, young company with a strong innovative spirit that carries on the family tradition.
Today, Tenuta Ronzano, with its 20 hectares of vineyards of which 12 are located in Costigliole d’Asti and 8 hectares in Neive, produces excellent Piedmontese DOC & DOCG wines.

The team
Born in 1992, Marco began helping his grandfather Renato in the cellar as a child. He studied at the Alba Enological School where he learned how to use the best technologies in the sector, allowing him to oversee each stage of the winemaking process, respecting the land and its fruits. While completing his studies, Marco continued to learn the old traditions in the cellar and to combine them with the new technologies.
Today, Marco is leading the winery by combining tradition and new technologies, experimenting firsthand with new viticulture and winemaking techniques with the aim of producing excellent wines that represent a maximum expression of the territory.
Born in 1982, Paola has been passionate about wine since she was a child, when her grandfather Renato held her hand among the vineyards.
Starting in 2016, she began working alongside her brother Marco in the construction of the new winery and today, she is fully dedicated to the growth and development of Tenuta Ronzano.
